Third place, Cybersecurity Case Study Competition (opens in a new tab)

Led The Futurists, a team from Yeshiva University's Katz College of Science and Health, in an analysis of the systemic failures surrounding the July 2024 CrowdStrike global technology outage. The team moved beyond technical root causes to examine executive accountability, change governance, operational resilience, and board-level oversight, and recommended a redesigned change governance structure, defined accountability mechanisms, and a phased software deployment framework.
